So, it is here.  Tomorrow I leave for NLR!!  I am so excited.  I have this fear, though, that I'm not going to be a good counselor or know what I'm doing.  That is scary for me.  I hope that I am paired with a counselor who has been a counselor at NLR before.  Even though I'm scared, I am soooooo pumped about woking with kids and showing God's love to them.  I KNOW I can do that...

So yesterday, I found out that I am accepted to pharmacy school here at KU!!  I am so excited.  It is really interesting but ever since the lousy driving weekend a coupla weekends ago, things have been falling into place.  I am soooo incredibly thankful to God.

I know I have to be wary.  The devil is always scheming.  But I have full confidence in the Lord's will.

Pretty sure the car fairies were out to get me this weekend.  Made it kinda sucky (not counting NLR.  NLR was great.  More to come later.)

On the way home from Lawrence, I missed my exit at Emporia so I had to take a 45 mile detour so I could get a stupid sleeping bag.  Then on the way to NLR I hit Tulsa during rush hour.  NLR was great, then when I filled in gas right outside of NLR when I left, I locked my keys in my car (I had an extra key magnetized under the car bumper).  To top off the weekend of car troubles, I got a flat tire between Strong City and Emporia because there must have been a rock that punctured my tire.  I had been at a family friend's house for lunch and must have gotten it on the rock roads to their house.  And so I called my parents and luckily they were only 30 minutes away.  Someone stopped to help me change the tire before they showed up.  Then we switched cars.  And even better, there was large hail Sunday night...I was told quarter- to golf-sized.  Luckily there was no damage to my parents' car, but seriously, the car fairies must hate me.

More about the awesome weekend at NLR later.
